11/16/2003 Entry: "Alpha is about."

An Alpha version is out to limited testers at the moment. This is the first closed testing of the map.

Also, the pk3 file is about 15 megs... the BSP is 22 megs. People have had problems loading it due to the size of the BSP. So, once the map is released, be sure to set com_hunkmegs to like, 128. I set it to 70 and it worked as well, but better safe than sorry.

Anyway, here are some screens of work Shield, Endureth and I have done on the sub pen:

Blah. Need a mapping break, as I've been going into overdrive the past few weeks (8+ hours on weekends, 4+ on weekdays) adding detail everywhere. Looking forward to feedback on testing. There's still some unfinished and empty rooms, halls, etc.

Hummer,

Wanted to say that I have long admired your mapping skills, and your current project is certainly no disappointment. In the same vein, would like to note that Grey Matter is currenly recruiting for qualified mappers and script editors. Your reknowned talents in the Wolfenstein community, in my humble opinion, would make you a prime candidate for either position. The only drawback is that job is in California (yeah, like that would suck).

Either way, thanks for your hard work and continued dedication. Looking forward to the final version of "Indiana Jones." Now if I could only get that damned theme song out of my head.

The flag and non-standard box textures look a little flat in the screen shots.
Also, in alpha19.jpg, the wood looks a little out of place, too.

Dang the artwork and design inside is freaking awesome!!
I'm sure there is allot more that can't be seen in the screenies.
Looking to run it on our ET Pub if the filesize isn't too huge.
